GLUTEOPLASTY

Improves the volume and projection of the buttocks.

Gluteoplasty is a procedure that improves the volume and projection of the gluteal area. There are different techniques to improve the shape and volume of the buttocks, such as implant placement, liposuction or lipoinjection. If a small increase is required, autogenous fat infiltration may be the best solution. If a larger increase is required, the surgeon may recommend prosthetic placement. In no case should the infiltration of substances such as biopolymers, or hyaluronic acid, which can cause rejection of the organism be accessed. Gluteoplasty or buttock augmentation corrects features such as:

  • Excess fat around the buttocks.

  • Excess fat in the lower part of the buttocks.

  • Projection.

  • Lack of volume Characteristics of aging.

Some of the frequent exams are: Simple analysis, Chest x-ray, Electrocardiogram, Medical test. You should inform the surgeon about all the medications you are taking and discuss the impact it could have on the procedure. Avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications or vitamin supplements that may increase bleeding. Before having surgery you should reduce the consumption of fats and flour and eat more vegetables and proteins. Foods with Vitamin C can help in your healing. It is important to hydrate the skin with a body cream from a week before. It is recommended to quit smoking long before the procedure.

Gluteoplasty can use techniques such as:

LIPOSUCTION: for patients with good volume and projection, but excess fat in the lower back and under the buttocks. With this the contour is improved.

IMPLANTS: for patients with volume but little projection. Round implants of small base, improve the projection of the buttocks without increasing the size of the sides. There are saline, hydrogel and silicone prostheses; This is the most used for its consistency, with more natural results in form and touch. The incision is made in the intergluteal fold, its length varies between 4 and 10 centimeters, it is very little visible. The implant is located under the fascia of the muscle or under the muscle of the gluteus maximus. The intervention lasts about two hours. Gluteoplasty is an outpatient procedure, the anesthesia used can be general or local.

Remain absolutely rest for the first 72 hours. You can feel tightness in the skin, it is completely normal while the body gets used to the changes. It is recommended to try to get up and walk progressively, you should rest and sleep on your stomach or side, during the first three weeks you should avoid sitting for long periods. You must keep the girdle on for the first three weeks. Sometimes the surgeon will recommend massages to prevent the capsule containing the implant from contracting.
